How I Went from Gut Hell to Food Freedom

I know exactly what you’re feeling because I lived it for decades. Since I was a teenager, my gut has been a total mess—chronic bloating, painful gas, and digestion so unpredictable I started avoiding meals around other people altogether.
The worst part? I had no idea why.
Doctors didn’t have answers (or at least not ones that actually helped), and it wasn’t until I hit my mid-forties that I even discovered I was lactose intolerant. Yep—45 freaking years of suffering, and the culprit was something I was eating every single day.
At one point, my bloating was so bad that people started asking me if I was pregnant. Do you know how devastating that is when you’re already struggling to feel normal? I hit rock bottom. I was so done with feeling like a prisoner in my own body.
So, I did what I do best—I went all in and started researching.
And what I found? Gut health is everything.
Not just digestion—your energy, hormones, skin, sleep, stress, and overall well-being all tie back to gut health. The problem? Everything I read made it seem so complicated—cut out this, eliminate that, live like a monk and maybe, maybe you’ll feel better.
Screw that.
Instead of buying into the chaos, I simplified everything and broke gut healing down into five key areas:
